Aug 28: Hungama OTT’s Hasratein returns for Season 4, once again turning its lens on the private world of women's desire, courage, and reinvention. Following three successful seasons and a strong response from audiences, this next chapter dives deeper into the quiet battles fought behind closed doors the longing, the rebellion, and the reckoning that women carry beneath calm exteriors.

HASRATEIN RETURNS WITH SEASON 4, BRINGING SIX BOLD STORIES OF DESIRE, RESILIENCE AND SELF-DISCOVERY

Across six interwoven stories, the season follows women at the crossroads of duty and desire each ready to break the rules that have defined them, confront the fears that have silenced them, and reclaim the simple, radical right to feel, to want, and to live fully.

Hasratein Season 4 premieres on Hungama OTT on August 25, with two new episodes releasing every week. The first two episodes Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko and Finding Voice will premiere on August 25. Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko, a brilliant intimacy therapist who heals broken relationships for a living must confront the man who once shattered her own self-worth only to discover that true intimacy begins with loving and accepting herself. Finding Voice, a silenced singer, trapped in her famous husband's shadow, loses her voice the night she loses everything else until a stranger's quiet belief in her helps her find both again.

Jhatpat Aarti and Makaan Maalik on September 1. Jhatpat Aarti, a small-time cook, judged for her ambition and her worth, chooses to fight for her dreams and her self-respect   proving that a woman's future is defined by her courage, not her "purity." Makaan Maalik, a single mother holding her life together with quiet grit lets her guard down for the first time in years only to discover the man she trusted was never quite who he seemed.

Runaway Mother and You Are Pretty on September 8.  Runaway Mother, a mother who has spent three years running from an abusive husband must return to the home she abandoned and rediscover the fearless woman she once was before she can finally stop running.

You Are Pretty, a humiliated wife, written off by her husband as invisible, rediscovers her body, her business, and her worth and walks back into her own life on her own terms.

Season 4 of Hasratein brings together a powerful ensemble cast, including: Nisha Rawal, Dhruv Chaudhary, Meera Deosthale, Zaan Khan, Akanksha Puri, Reyaansh Vir Chadha, Chahat Khanna, Ansh Bagri, and Amika Shail.

Talking about what drew her to the story, Nisha shares,

The earlier seasons of Hungama OTT’s Hasratein were quite a hit, so when I got the offer for the fourth season, and specifically for the ‘Runaway Mother’ episode, I got very excited after hearing the story. There was a lot to do in my character, and it was full of emotions. This is the first time I’m doing a web series in a lead role, so this is even more special for me.”

Dhruv Chaudhary said,

Hasratein Season 4 is interesting because it doesn’t look at relationships in black and white. Every character has layers, motivations and contradictions. Being part of a story that explores desire, relationships and human vulnerability from such an intimate perspective was a very enriching experience for me.”

Talking about her role and her connection with Aarti, Meera shares,

Playing Aarti in the web series ‘Jhatpat Aarti’ was really fun. Aarti is great at cooking and makes cooking videos, and I also love cooking in my real life. It helps me relax and feel better, so whenever I get free time, I cook a lot at home. Even on set, I tried making snacks during the shoot. Once, I made besan ka chilla and my co-actors and director loved it.”

Zaan Khan said,

Hasratein Season 4 has a very different emotional texture. The stories are bold, but at their heart they are about people searching for acceptance, love and a sense of self. My character brings another dimension to that journey, and exploring those complexities as an actor was extremely exciting.”

Akanksha Puri said,

“What makes Hasratein Season 4 special is that it gives women the freedom to be complicated. They can be vulnerable, ambitious, flawed, passionate and strong  sometimes all at once. My character’s journey is about rediscovering her worth and understanding that you don’t have to wait for someone else to validate you before you start living for yourself.”

Reyaansh Vir Chadha said,

“The characters in Hasratein Season 4 are driven by very human emotions, and that makes the stories relatable despite their different circumstances. My character has his own shades and complexities, and portraying those nuances gave me an opportunity to explore a very different side of relationships and human behaviour.”

Chahat Khanna, who plays a single mother in Makaan Malik, said,

Hasratein Season 4 is ultimately about women’s empowerment and resilience. My character, a single mother and café owner, is independent, strong, and determined to build a life on her own terms. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that the man she married is not the person she believed him to be. Playing a character who navigates love, motherhood, betrayal, and self-discovery was both challenging and exciting for me.”

Ansh Bagri said,

“What excited me about Hasratein Season 4 was the opportunity to be part of an anthology that isn’t afraid to explore relationships beyond conventional definitions. The characters are flawed and unpredictable, and that makes them interesting. There is a lot beneath the surface, and I think audiences will enjoy discovering those layers.”

Amika Shail said,

Hasratein Season 4 is ultimately about women reclaiming their voices and their choices. Every story has a different emotional journey, but there is a common thread  the courage to stop living according to someone else’s expectations. Being part of such an honest and intimate narrative has been a wonderful experience.”
