July 10: Some films arrive with spectacle. Others arrive with sincerity. At a time when life is dictated by notifications, instant opinions and fleeting connections, the award-winning film MaxMin and Meowzaki chooses to tell a quieter story. Presented by actor-producer Samiksha Oswal, the film looks at what happens when relationships begin to crack, people drift apart and life refuses to go as planned. Instead of searching for easy answers, it lingers on something far more important...the slow, often messy process of healing. In a world that's forgotten how to slow down, the trailer of the Award- winning film Max, Min and Meowzaki reminds us that healing takes time

The makers have now unveiled the film's trailer, offering a deeper look into a story that unfolds through love, loss, companionship and the small moments that quietly change us. The film has earned global appreciation by making its debut at Busan and being a part of the Best of Fest selection at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Hindi and English language feature also earned audience honours in Sonoma San Francisco and in Osaka, alongwith best feature wins at Stuttgart, Cincinnati, Berlin's Indo-German film week and RIFFA in Canada.

Starring Medha Shankr, Siddharth Menon, Adil Hussain, Mandira Bedi, Nasser, Nafisa Ali and Vidhatri Bandi, MaxMin and Meowzaki follows Max and Min, a young couple whose relationship begins to unravel just when life demands they hold on a little tighter. Even after Min walks away, Max continues to navigate the emptiness she leaves behind, finding unexpected comfort in Meowzaki , the cat they once raised together. This is not just a story about a break-up, but about learning to live with loss, finding the strength to heal and discovering that love doesn't always disappear, it simply changes its place in our lives.

There are no dramatic twists and turns or larger-than-life moments. It stitches together half-finished conversations, uncomfortable silences, laughter that takes you by surprise, complexities of different generations, and people realising that moving forward doesn’t always mean leaving everything behind. Meowzaki bears witness to all of this, whilst being a reminder that comfort can come in the most unlikely of forms.

The story is set to the familiar beat of monsoon Mumbai and discovers beauty in the ordinary moments that are often missed. It is less about perfect relationships than about honest ones. Less about happy endings than about finding the courage to begin again. And somewhere along the way, as its characters slowly heal, the film hopes to leave its audience with a little healing of their own.

Written and directed by Padmakumar Narasimhamurthy, MaxMin and Meowzaki stars Siddharth Menon, Medha Shankr, Adil Hussain, Mandira Bedi, Nasser, Nafisa Ali and Vidhatri Bandi. Shael Oswal lends his voice to the film's soundtrack. Presented by SSO Productions, the film is produced by Samiksha Oswal and businessman-singer Shael Oswal. MaxMin and Meowzaki releases exclusively in theatres on July 24.
